Let Petits Oignons means "the little onions" in French. This elegant yet cozy Belgian brasserie leans French/Mediterranean in style. It has a nice selection of seafood offerings (raw oysters, octopus, and fish!) and traditional Belgian classics (waterzooi, shrimp croquettes, and gray shrimp). Chef-owner Khaled Zoughlami emphasizes "first in class, top-fresh products", changes his menu seasonally, and offers daily changing specials which are influenced by fresh produce at the market.
Michelin has recognized Let Petits Oignons Brussels for its excellent value, giving it Bib Gourmande status.

General Thoughts - Les Petits Oignons
The restaurant was pleasant, filled with regulars who seemed like old friends. In general, I remember thinking that the food was good, the atmosphere was warm and friendly, and we had a nice meal. It's not the most creative or cutting edge, but classic dishes are executed well. All in all, it's a good place to enjoy a warm, rustic meal with fresh, quality ingredients in a classy yet cozy environment.
Les Petits Oignons has a private banquet room for events that can accommodate up to 65 people, which may be useful for larger events. Right now during the pandemic, they also offer takeaway seven days a week, though these things may always change. Check the website for the latest details.
